I always wanted to progress the photographs further, and this project allowed me to further develop the ideas, using it as a route for making my work more three-dimensional.

I wanted to play around with the idea of the shit being ornamental and to create ornamental replicas of shit, in order to engage with my concept more fully. I did this through exploring with moldmaking to create these replicas, in which I them experimented with texture, colour & the finish of many of the series.” – PTM
